My campaign emphasizes creating a community that serves residents at every stage of life. My priorities include expanding opportunities for youth engagement, exploring affordable family recreation, supporting senior programming, and strengthening community partnerships. I also support examining ways to improve parks, public safety, and access to essential services. These proposals would be evaluated for feasibility, funding, and long-term sustainability.
Background
I am a 39 year old mom of 6, wife, woman of God. I was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Raised in Houston Texas and settled in Arkansas at the age of 15 where I attended Central High School my 9th grade year and moving to Sylvan Hills High School for 10-12th grade. I attended Pulaski Technical College and finished my Bachelors of Business with a minor in Human Resources at the University of Phoenix. I am a longtime member of ACTS in NLR, AR (Pastor Frank Stewart) a second father to me. I own a home in Sherwood, Arkansas where I am raising my children. I have a senior who is set to graduate this year with honors from Sylvan Hills High School. I volunteered for the Sherwood community basketball league as a 4th -6th grade girls basketball coach.
I have always been the type to stand up for what I believe in. I really didn’t conform to the way of the world. I was set apart to understand every aspect of life. I’m just a humble servant living out Gods word. He called me to Mayor. To set a new tone for this generation and those to come. My creativity, the ability to lead, my ability to be collaborative, my will to be slow to speak and quick to listen, to be fair and just is what makes me successful. My passion to help others and my love of people motivates me.
Career
I started working at the age of 15 serving the public. Working with children, to retail, to business. My hands were gifted at a young age to transform people’s hair the way they wanted boosting their self esteem. Owning my own business as a tax preparer, financial advisor, and credit repair specialist. I’m currently a teacher at NLRSD teaching 5th grade ELA and Social Studies.
